Terms of Service

Version 2.0.0 · Last updated 15 September 2026

This summary helps you find your way. The full Terms below are what apply.

1. About these Terms

These Terms apply when you create a DRS Coaching account and use it, whether in the iPhone app or on the web ("DRS"). You don't need to accept them to browse drs.coach or apply for coaching. DRS is run by DRS Coaching Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17195516), registered office Studio 9, 50–54 St Paul's Square, Birmingham, B3 1QS, United Kingdom. "We", "us" and "our" mean DRS Coaching Ltd.

You agree to these Terms when you create your account. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data, including health data. If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't create an account.

2. Who can use DRS

  • You must be 18 or over.
  • You must be able to enter into a legally binding agreement.
  • We may review new accounts before they are activated, and we can decline an account.

3. Your account

  • One account per person. Don't share your account or let anyone else use it.
  • Keep your login details secure. If you think someone else has access to your account, tell us straight away at support@drs.coach.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Keep your details accurate, especially your date of birth, health information and anything your coach relies on.

4. What DRS does

DRS helps you track and plan your training, nutrition, body weight and habits, and lets you work with a coach through weekly check-ins, plans and messages. You can use the tracking features on your own or alongside coaching.

We look after DRS with reasonable care and skill. We improve it over time, so features may change, and occasionally something will be unavailable while we fix or update it. If a change takes away something you rely on, we'll tell you in advance where we can.

5. Coaching

If you are coached through DRS:

  • The details of your coaching, including what's included, how long it runs and how it ends, are agreed with you separately before coaching starts. That agreement sits alongside these Terms. If the two conflict about your coaching, the coaching agreement applies.
  • While you are working together, your coach can see your profile, logs, check-ins, progress data and your messages with them. When the coaching relationship ends, their access ends.
  • Coaching on DRS is fitness and nutrition coaching. It is not medical care, and your coach can't diagnose or treat medical conditions.
  • Tell your coach about any injury, illness, medication, pregnancy or history of disordered eating that could affect your training or diet, and tell them when anything changes.
  • You stay in control of what you do. If part of your plan doesn't feel right, stop and talk to your coach.

6. If you coach on DRS

We are the data controller for all personal data on DRS, including your clients' data. Your access to a client's data comes from DRS and lasts only while you are coaching that client. You must:

  • use a client's data only to coach that client;
  • not copy, export or share client data outside DRS, except through tools DRS provides for that purpose;
  • not use client data for marketing or anything unrelated to coaching that client;
  • keep client information confidential;
  • hold and maintain any qualifications and insurance your coaching requires; and
  • tell us at support@drs.coach without delay if you suspect a data incident, such as a lost device or someone else getting into your account.

If you stop coaching on DRS, your access to your clients' data ends. Their accounts and data stay with DRS.

7. Health and safety

  • DRS does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Nothing in DRS, from your coach or from our AI features, replaces advice from a doctor or other qualified health professional.
  • Speak to a doctor before starting a new training or nutrition plan, especially if you have a medical condition or injury, are pregnant, take medication, or have a history of disordered eating.
  • Exercise carries a risk of injury. Stop straight away if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or anything unusual, and get medical help if you need it.
  • DRS is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 999 or your local emergency number.

8. AI

We use AI tools to help us monitor, maintain and improve DRS. We plan to add more AI features over time. When we do, we'll update these Terms.

When you log food from a photo of a meal or a nutrition label, AI estimates what the food is, the portion size and its nutrition. These are estimates and can be wrong, so check them and edit anything that doesn't look right before you rely on them.

Food photos are analysed by the third-party AI providers named in our Privacy Policy. We send them only the photo and any description you add.

9. Apple Health and other connected services

If you connect Apple Health, we receive the Health data you choose to share, such as weight, steps, sleep, heart rate and active energy. You can stop sharing at any time. Some parts of DRS rely on other services, such as food databases. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licence terms for apps also apply. Apple is not a party to these Terms, is not responsible for the app or its content, and does not provide support for it. Contact us instead.

10. Using DRS responsibly

You must not use DRS to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone else's rights, including copyright;
  • harass, abuse, threaten or impersonate anyone, including coaches and other users;
  • post or send anything unlawful, obscene or defamatory, or anything that encourages self-harm, disordered eating or dangerous practices;
  • buy, sell or promote illegal or prescription-only drugs;
  • upload malware, try to get into accounts or systems you aren't allowed to access, or get around rate limits and other protections;
  • scrape DRS or access it through automated tools or unofficial apps without our written permission; or
  • advertise or sell competing coaching services.

If someone breaks these rules we may remove content, give a warning, suspend or close the account, and report illegal activity to the authorities. To report a problem or a security issue, email support@drs.coach.

11. Your content and ours

What you put into DRS stays yours. That includes logs, check-ins, photos and messages. You give us permission to store, display and process it to run DRS for you and, where you are coached, to share it with your coach. That permission ends when your data is deleted.

Messages between you and your coach are private to the two of you. We only access them when we need to, for example to provide support, keep DRS safe or meet a legal obligation.

The DRS app, website, design, logos, programmes and other content belong to us or the people we license them from. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use DRS for yourself or, if you coach on DRS, to coach your clients. You can't copy, resell or modify DRS, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.

12. Our responsibility to you

If we don't provide DRS with reasonable care and skill, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in these Terms affects them. Citizens Advice can explain your rights.

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable when you started using DRS.

DRS is for personal use. We are not responsible for business losses such as lost profit or lost business opportunities.

We are not responsible for injury or loss caused by acting against the health and safety guidance in section 7, or by information you didn't give your coach. This doesn't apply where we or your coach have been negligent.

Apart from the liabilities listed below, our total liability to you under these Terms is limited to £100. Any liability connected with your coaching is covered by your coaching agreement.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

13. Ending your use of DRS

You can stop using DRS at any time. You can download a copy of your data and delete your account from within the app. Deleting your account starts a 30-day grace period. If you change your mind, email support@drs.coach within those 30 days. After that your data is permanently deleted, except anything we must keep by law.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if keeping it open would put you, other users or DRS at risk. Where it is safe and lawful, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

If we decide to close DRS altogether, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download your data.

Sections 7, 11, 12, 15 and 16 continue to apply after your use of DRS ends.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when DRS changes or the law does. The version number and date at the top of this page show which version is current. We'll tell you about important changes in the app or by email before they take effect, and ask you to accept them before you carry on using DRS. If you don't agree to a change, you can delete your account.

15. General

  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. If we do, we'll tell you, and it won't reduce your rights. You can't transfer your account or these Terms to anyone else.
  • If a court decides part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce part of these Terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.

16. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@drs.coach so we can try to sort it out.
